It mignt not be a majority, but it seems like the largest block of people are in the same boat as me. We work where we work because we basically have to. We don't have a lot of options. At least we don't have a lot of options that we can see. Maybe it is that we are just not looking or not looking in the right places. What I will be eternally thankful for is that the option of the TEAM landed in my lap, even though I wasn't looking for it and now the Mona Vie option has landed there as well. This will move me from the third option above to the first option: This is what I was designed to do! Thanks to you and Orrin and Chris and Dean and all the TEAM for making this option available to me and so many more.

I have to agree with Dave. A lot of us are where we are with work because we have to, and were raised being told time and time again that this is it. This is what we're supposed to do; that there isn't anything else. I know for a fact that until I was dragged kicking/screaming/clawing to a meeting, I didn't know there were any other options, nor was I looking for any other options. But now that I know and really started to think about it, I've realized that I am not happy with doing what I'm doing.

Now, with new options presented to me, I know there are many things I can do with both my time and money, and those options given to me will get me to those things I want to do.

Work in the 95% world, no matter how much it can be glitzed and glamoured up, is still tiring, exhausting 95%-er type work. It just isn't what I want to do anymore, and I am glad you posted this, Chuck. This serves as a reminder to me of what things I have done to end up in the position I am in, plus remind me of and give me fuel, fire, and inspiration for what I can and will do to get and be what I want to have and be.

Hi Chuck:

I voted recommended by a friend. My current boss was a teacher of mine for a class, and I asked so many questions, he decided to offer me a job.
I am very fortunate, in that I have a boss who has mentored me for about 12 years now, and I truly enjoy what I do.

Of course, would I do it for free? Not likely. I am sure I would help out in a pinch, but to put the hours in every day for free? I don't think so.

You definitely gave us something to think about.
