This question is a lot like the gift of a day from The Ultimate Gift. It is kind of disappointing that you can only vote for one choice, but I really think that my choice of witnessing is the best of the lot because first of all it is the Great Commission and second because it is the one thing that I could do that would have the most eternal impact on the world before I leave it. Several others like reading your blog and Chris's and Orrin’s and reading books and reading the Bible and getting my spiritual life in order and getting my finances in order are things I do or try to do every day anyway, so that would not be a change. Some that I probably would add would be: be adventurous, give money away, travel, spoil my wife (more), spend (more) time with family and friends, and maybe write some kind of memoirs or autobiography (although that would probably be pretty boring for the readers, but at least maybe someone could learn from my mistakes.). I think that reconciling a broken relationship would be important, but I can't think of any but maybe I am responsible for hurting others and am unaware of it so I would try to find out if I can make anything right.
I have just reread The Ultimate Gift and watched the DVD so the idea of the gift of a day is kind of on my mind.

Thank you for the inspiration and the reminder that our lives are not about us. I have not had to face this situation to this extent (30 days to live) but I did experience something a little less life span threatening. That experience, along with some other issues, seemed to come at me all at the same time. I could not handle it on my own and that led me to Christ. Shortly after accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior, I was healed of my medical issues. I know that was a gift. There is no other way to explain it.

I was in a book store today and came across another gift, I only noticed it because of a blog entry by a wonderful man of God named Chuck Goetschel. The name of the book...'One Month To Live - Thirty Days To A No-Regrets Life'

I hope that I will be able to take up the challenge and stop waiting for "someday" and start making each day really matter.
