I have read a lot of books and attended a lot of conferences and I know good advice when I hear it. Today, I heard some good advice. It came from a new friend, Glen, while we were talking about the struggle he is having with his daughter. We talked about how often the best thing I guy can say in a conversation is NOTHING! Often, it can be difficult to stay quiet and listen when all we want to do is offer solutions or fix the problem. It can even be more difficult if we feel attacked during that conversation. But, women often just want to be heard as was the case with his daughter. I asked him how he does it. His response was priceless…He said, I just say to myself, “Lord, wrap your arms around me and put your hand over my mouth.” Now, that’s some good advice.

Re: Some Good Advice...
Chuck - That is good advice indeed. I have heard you speak many times and you have always been edifying, encouraging, and uplifting. I know these are difficult times for you and I want you to know that you are in my prayers and that I know you will not only land on your feet, but that you will soar. All the best - Tom Sims

Tom, Thanks for the kind words and for the prayers. I'm looking forward to soaring higher than ever before and uplifting as many others as possible in the process. Thanks for being an uplifter yourself! Best, Chuck

Chuck;
We met at the convention. I spoke with you about the inmates at my prison and how you were their "guest speaker" when we watched the Future video. I mentioned that we had made mission statements and you asked if you could get a copy of some. I have some available and all I need is an address. Hope to hear from you soon. Take care. Hi Brooks, Thanks for following through with me. I am truly touched and impressed by your leadership and sharing my DVD on Mission Statements with the inmates and leading them through the process. I am so excited for them to redefine a new life with a target and a personal set of guiding principles. I respect each of them for their willingness to do what few people have ever done. A mailing address for me is: 25422 Trabuco Rd., Ste. 105-356, Lake Forest, CA 92630. Thanks, Chuck PS-Please verify when you send them which can be shared and which are private. Thanks.
